Our company’s product helps automotive industry customers to train, test, and validate their self-driving algorithms in challenging scenarios.
We are looking for a machine learning engineer to join our dedicated team of experts. You will work on various machine learning topics with the goal to lift the performance of our computer vision pipeline to the next level.
Your Responsibilities
- Develop state-of-the-art machine learning algorithms to improve the performance of our data extraction pipeline
- Train and evaluate the performance of these algorithms in a systematic way
- Apply deep learning methods to solve challenging computer vision problems
- Work closely with our advisors (e.g., Prof. Dr. Daniel Cremers)
Your Qualifications
- MSc or PhD in machine learning, data science or a related field
- Practical experience in machine learning and computer vision
- Familiar with capabilities and limitations of latest neural network architectures
- Team player with passion to work in an intercultural environment
- High degree of autonomy and excellent problem-solving skills

We are looking for an experienced Data Scientist(m/f/d) willing to take over the coordination of our processes and able to find creative solutions to tough problems. As a Data Scientist (m/f/d) you will be challenged with transforming natural language data into useful features using NLP techniques to feed classification algorithms. To succeed in this role, you should possess outstanding skills in statistical analysis, machine learning methods and text representation techniques.
Your tasks:
- Proven experience as a Data Scientist or similar role
- Understanding of NLP techniques for text representation, semantic extraction techniques, data structures and modelling
- Ability to effectively design software architecture
- Deep understanding of text representation techniques (such as n-grams, bag of words, sentiment analysis etc), statistics and classification algorithms
- Knowledge of Python, Java and R
- Ability to write robust and testable code
- Experience with machine learning frameworks (such as Keras or PyTorch) and libraries (such as scikit-learn)
- Strong communication skills
- Analytical and problem solving skills
- Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Computational Linguistics or similar field
